- 4 eggs, separated
- 125 g sugar
- 4 tb cold water
- 225 g sifted flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 250 g berries (blueberries, raspberries, boysenberries)
Pre-heat oven to 180°C and grease a round 25 cm pan.
Beat egg yolks and sugar together until very light and add water. Sift together flour and baking powder and add to batter. Beat egg whites until stiff then fold into batter. Pour batter into prepared pan. Add/drop the berries in circles around the pan.
Bake for 20 min. Let it cool completely and put on a cake platter. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
