- 500 g spinach (fresh or frozen)
- 3 eggs
- 200 g cottage cheese
- 200 g feta cheese or blue castello
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped dill
- pie dough (see video)
If using fresh spinach, wash it well and boil it in water with some salt for 10 min. If you have frozen spinach, cook it in a little water (about 150g) with a little salt for about 5 min. Remove from the heat and cool.
Strain an chop the spinach. Crush the feta in a bowl, mix with cottage cheese and the eggs, season with freshly ground pepper and dill. Mix in the spinach and season with salt if necessary (you’ll have to taste the mixture since the feta cheese can be a little salty).
Grease a pie pan and pre bake the pie crust. Add the mixture in the pan. Bake in the oven at 220 degrees for 20 minutes. Take the form out and let it rest for a few minutes.
Serving: Cut into slices and serve it with a green salad.
